The Historical and Cultural Society of Clay County is located in the City of Moorhead’s Hjemkomst Center, a public building housing the museum home of the Hjemkomst Viking Ship, local history and traveling exhibits, and the society’s archival and artifact collection. It is also home to Moorhead’s full-size Hopperstad Stave Church, located next to the Hjemkomst Center in the surrounding Viking Ship Park.
