Description
This wooden shuttle was used for making fishnets. It is 15.5 inches long and 1.75 inches wide. It is in the shape of a canoe with handles on both ends. The center is cut out and a round stick rotates freely in the center. The stick is currently held in by a coated copper wire piece threaded through the main shuttle.On one side there is a small hole. It is made from hard wood. It was used by Andris Fossebraten who resided in Langhei Township. He was the father of Mrs. A.C. Bjorson and Mrs. Otto Kamrud.
