Description

This wooden weaving shuttle is 11" long and 1.5" wide. Both ends are pointed and the shuttle is more curved on one side than the other. On one side is an eyelet reinforced by a metal ring. The central part is carved to form a bowl like area 4" long, 1.25" wide and .75" deep. There is no central rod in this shuttle, but there is a notch for one. The bottom of the bowl has a carved design cut out in it. It is wide on the ends and again in the center. It was brought from Norway.
