Description
Box, Jewelry: Leather box with metal handle on the top of the lid and a clasp on the side. Inside is lined with a newspaper "Lady's Magazine."

From ealier PastPerfect description: "Jewelry box in the form of a leather trunk. Used as a "treasure chest" Given to Charles Hayman's great-grandmother in Exeter, England 1806. Brought to America in 1849 by her son to Hay Creek in 1855."
