Description
Black and white fisheye lens view of downtown Glenwood from the top of the Courthouse. The building in the lower left is the Firehall. Across the street on the far left is the Serrin house, Glenwood Heating & Power Bldg and Ogdahl Hatchery and Feed Mill (two-story dark building). Directly across from the Courthouse, left to right, is the Glenwood Herald (obscured by trees), the W.J. Carson Building has the front high windows on the second floor and is in the center of the block, and the Selleseth/D.L. Grant Building is on the corner of First Street and Minnesota Avenue. Across Minnesota Avenue is the Ward/Glenwood Hotel on the far right side and the Webster Building west of it. Continuing west is the Wynell Building. The buildings easily seen from the left in the background are Glenwood Lumber, the Fremad Building, Minton Hotel, and the 1st National Bank Building. The far background to the right of Lake Minnewaska is the Glenwood Academy.
