Description
Pants: World War II Army Officer's Dress pants. The pants are olive drab wool. The fly has a zipper and one drab brown plastic button. There is one dark cream plastic button on the inside of the fly. There are belt loops. On the inside waist are 6 large dark cream plastic suspender buttons. There are side pockets. There are back pockets with a pointed flap and a medium brown plastic button. The inside waistband is lined with olive drab rayon? The inside pockets are lined with cream cotton. Written in black pen on the right side of the inside pocket is "Bar-S (?) crossed out/17138-2/Gorman/-ca". Written in purple on the back inside left pocket is "35". Stamped in black on the inside left side pocket is "LT. O'GORMAN".

Worn by Charles F. O'Gorman of Goodhue. He was a First Lieutenant in the Army. He was killed in action "somewhere in Tunisia", North Africa on March 28, 1943. He was supposedly the first Goodhue County resident KIA during World War II.
