Description
Shoemaker's awl 4" long with a 1" metal point. The wooden handle is round, tapered, and has a ball on the end. There is a hard black substance on one side. Something melted and adhered to the handle.
It was owned by Andrew Giskaas, who came here from Norway and had a shop in White Bear Township. Some of the Shoemaker's tools came from Norway.
