Description
Yarn winder / swift / Hespetre. Hand carved in unfinished wood. A heavy wooden base with 2 upright pieces support a central piece of wood with a crank at one end. In the middle of the central piece is a cross of wood with 4 equal arms. Each arm has a slightly rounded piece attached to the end to hold the yarn. One arm has a removable end so that you could take the yarn of the winder. The curved piece is broken off of that arm.
