Description

No one can identify this piece of iron and its use. Mr. Shoemaker put new handles on it. It was displayed at Merrill Deaton's auction sale. He did not know its use.
It is a heavy hinged tool with grooved on the rounded end. One of the grooves is smaller than the other. The metal part is 8.5" long and 4" wide.
