Description
Shoe button device made from hard iron. It is 7.75" long and resembles and works like a pliers. One side is flat, the other is cut out to hold a shoe button. It was patented in 1875 according to the stamp on the hinge. There is also a single round .25" button attached to the device by a wire. Cobbler or shoemaker's tool.
