On the left are the McNitt Building, McLaury Building (Post office and Setter Drug), Conrad / Lenartson Building (Swanson's Bakery) and the Furtney Block / Glenwood Apartments.
Avelsgaard Grocery was in the Mcnitt building from 1916-1926. Signs on the two light posts say Glenwood Summer Hotel to the right. One of these signs is a museum artifact: XX.1435 The Glenwood Summer Hotel, Long Beach, was built in 1920.
