Description
Cap, Garrison: World War II WAC (Women's Army Corps) medical corps garrison (overseas) cap. The hat is dark olive drab wool. The hat is curved to fit a woman's head. It is 10 1/2" long x 3 1/2" high. The brim folds up 1 3/4" in the front and 2" in the back. The front of the brim crosses over from the left to the right. The top edge of the brim has yellow with green speck piping (Enlisted). There is a crease across the top. The inside is lined with olive green rayon. On the inside bottom is a cream tag with black "21" in a black outlined square. Condition - Good. MOLD - The cap had mold. It was laid out to dry and was vacuumed on 1/10/2006.

The cap was from the US Army Bruns General Hospital, Sante Fe, New Mexico 1946.
