Dress: Iridescent turquoise stiff polyester? formal dress. The dress is mid-calf length. It is sleeveless. It has 1/8" wide spaghetti shoulder straps. The bodice is straight cut in the front and back. The back is lower cut. The front bodice has turqoise floral lace. The dress has a high waist. There is 1/8" wide piping from the shoulder strap to the waist along the bust line on each side on the front. At the bottom of the piping at the waist is a 1/4" wide bow with no tails. On the front and back is a vertical dart from the waist to part way down the skirt on each side. There are three seams from the waist to the hem across the front and back skirt. The dress closes down the back with a zipper and a hook and eye at the neck. The skirt flares. The under side of the dress material is medium blue softer material. The inside bodice is lined with white cotton except on the front top. Around the inside hem is bluish green seam tape. There is a long bluish green rayon? (same as seam tape) hanging loop on each side on the inside. On the back on each side is a polyester strip with a black thread inside it. On the inside back left back is a white label with blue "Lot/Size 13/____". On the inside bottom left side of the skirt is a white label with blue "(oblong shape with print) 131/AANV/728521/UNION LABEL/(circle with print inside) INT'L LADIES GARMENT WORKERS UNION/ILGWU AFL-CIO". Condition - There is a few light brown stains on the skirt. There are light brown stains under the arms. There is a small frayed hole on the left lower side of the skirt.
