Description

This plaque is mounted on black velvet inside a wooden shadowbox type frame. The plaque itself is green marble with a white decorative border. Hormel Foods is at the top in gold letters surrounded by an oval border. In white lettering: Mr. Olson Whereas, Earl B. Olson has served as a member of the Board of Directors of Hormel Foods Corporation from 1987 through 1997; 
Whereas, the Board accepts with regret Earl's decision to retire from the Board after ten years of excellent contribution; and
Whereas, the Board wishes to express its gratitude for a job well done:
Resolved, that the Board of Directors of Hormel Foods Corporation, on behalf of the Company and all its employees, thanks Earl for the wisdom and insight he has brought to the governance of the Company from his years of experience as the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Jennie-O Foods, Inc., and for the fine fellowship which will be missed by his fellow Board members.
Further Resolved, that the Board wishes Earl and Dorothy the very best of all things in the years ahead.
