Description

This is a shell casing from the artillery used with a Howitzer. These were used from WWI on, but this one is from Vietnam. It is a heavy brass tube. Engraved on the bottom is 105 MM.MI4
Lot 15599-29 NS 1942.  On the bottom of the casing the base of the primer has engravings:
A-10 2220  20  1942  IV 18. These engravings were sometimes hard to read with a high degree of certainty.
