Description
Generations is a supplemental news section put out by the West Central Tribune in January of 2020. It highlights businessman Orvis Pattison and his wife Doris. Orvis Pattison moved to Willmar in 1959 when he bought the Bowladrome on Benson Avenue. He also built the Quik Stop in 1962 on First Street, which served 19-cent hamburgers. Three of the photographs were supplied by the Historical Society: Quik Stop on first Street, Orvis Pattison and his son, Keith and a souvenier glass by Quik Stop celebrating the bicentennial.
