Maple Trees Tapped for Syrup
Title
Maple Trees Tapped for Syrup
Creation Date
March 2020
Description
Sugar maple trees tapped for sap in the front yard of 1815 3rd Avenue in Anoka, March 2020. They were tapped by the owner's son and grandsons so they could make homemade maple syrup during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Owner's description: "My son, Erik Skogquist and my grandkids, Everett & Oliver have tapped three sugar maple trees in my front yard on Third Avenue South in Anoka. They had gathered over 40 gallons of sap! The kids are excited to have pancakes with home-made syrup. At least, I am able to see and visit with them a couple times a day while we stay at least six feet away to practice our social distancing."
