Description

Signage and Coon Rapids Police Department presence at Costco (12547 Riverdale Boulevard) during the COVID-19 pandemic, March 20, 2020. Description from the photographer: "This is what the Coon Rapids Costco did.  Coon Rapids PD was in parking lot to keep order. Needed. Almost fights in the line to go in. Cars going everywhere without looking. Scary. Handing out tickets right and left."

The first photograph shows a Costco employee standing next to a sign indicating which items are available in the store and which are not. Items listed as "In Stock" (with a warning for potentially limited quantities) are: KS water, ground beef, diapers, Kleenex, baby wipes, dry pasta, rice, rotisserie chicken, and eggs. Items listed as "Out of Stock" are: paper towels, bleach, softsoap, rubbing alcohol, fresh chicken breast, Emergen, hand sanitizer, sanitizing wipes, vinegar, KS bath tissue.

The second photograph shows a Coon Rapids Police squad car pulled over behind another black car in a parking lot. Other buildings in the Riverdale shopping complex are visible in the background, including a Sprint store and Jimmy John's restaurant.
