This is the law. Explaining juvenile law to Burl Massman, Villard high school junior, left, and Jane Vogland, also of Villard, is county juvenile court Judge Gilman P. Gandrud. Burl and Jane were among the 150 high school juniors from throughout the county attending Boys and Girls County at the court house. Sponsored by the Pope County American Legion Council, the event seeks to inculcate in youngsters an understanding of county government.
