Description
Lucille Selnes of Glenwood township is $400 richer today because she waited five minutes longer at Ogard's store in Glenwood. For by waiting until 3:30 p.m. at the instance of her son, Eddie, 14, Mrs. Selnes was in Glenwood that day as she had brought her daughter, Mrs. Donald (Thelma) Hanson of Morris to the Glenwood Community Hospital to await the birth of the Selnes' first grandchild. In the picture, Norris K. Barsness, Chamber of Commerce secretary, counts out the $400. Mrs. Selnes says she's going to use the money to install a water system and pressure pump in their farm home.4x5 black and white Film Negative From the Pope County Tribune.
