Documents related to the Mamer, Deutsch, and Kubat families of New Prague. Mamer & Deutsch Hardware Store was a fixture on Main Street in New Prague for many years. This paper grouping includes the following:

-Insurance policy from The Retail Hardware Mutual Life Insurance Company of Minnesota issued to Peter Mamer, 1918. The policy covered both the hardware store and residence above the store.
-Inspector's Certificate issued to Peter Mamer by the State of Minnesota qualifying him to work as an engineer, 1903.
-Receipt issued to Leo Mamer by the Berkshire Life Insurance Company, 1924.
-Registry receipt from the New Prague Post Office for a registered letter John Kubat sent to Joseph Hovorka of Shakopee, 1896.
-Receipt issued to Joseph P. Deutsch by Arthur J. Phil Jelinek, 1953. Jelinek was an attorney and the receipt was for the preparation of deeds.
-Letter from Joseph Hovorka, Scott County Register of Deeds, to John Kubat of New Prague, 1896. The letter is handwritten on letterhead from the Office of Register of Deeds & Abstracter, Scott County. It is written in Czech.
-Envelope mailed to Joseph P. Deutsch from Eugene C. Wann, an attorney whose offices were in the Times Building in New Prague, dated 1962.
