Description
Three-ring binder of National Archives Records about Works Progress Administration activities in Minnesota collected by the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources as part of a project titled "Archives II* Report No. 10" completed in 1994. The DNR distributed copies of the report to regional parks, offices, the state archaeologist, the DNR library, the Minnesota Historical Society and local/county historical societies.

The binder is blue plastic with paper labels on the front cover and spine. It includes a title page and consists of copies of primary source documents pertaining to Mendota Work Camp No. 1 (Transient Program, TP-1) located in Dakota County with a Post Office box mailing address in Savage. Documents include the camp's location, buildings and layout, list of treatment centers in Minnesota, monthly reports, African-American workers at the camp, work completed by the camp, and so on. Also references transient camps in Savage and Shakopee. Most documents have an original date of 1936.
