Collection of holiday cards, prayer cards, solicitations from religious organizations, and other letters and correspondence sent to Alphonse and Elvira Notermann and their daughter Constance Notermann of Shakopee. When available, postmarks date between 1943 - 1952. The Notermann's address is listed at varying times as R.F.D. Route 2, Rural Area, 919 East First Avenue, or, simply, Shakopee. A high majority of the items sent to Constance Notermann are listed in care of her father.

This collection consists of :
-Postcard correspondence inviting the Notermanns to wedding showers, weddings, anniversary parties, and so on.
-Easter cards.
-Wedding invitations.
-Anniversary cards, invitations to anniversary parties, invitations to bridal showers, and wedding gift thank you cards.
-Prayer cards.
-Sympathy cards.
-Birth announcements.
-Birthday cards and invitations to birthday parties.
-Solicitations from various Catholic charities.
