Scrapbook with photos and memorabilia for Valleyfair's opening season in 1976. When closed, it measures 10.25"w x 11.875"h. The book is spiral bound with a white vinyl cover. There is a black plastic plate adhered to the front cover in the lower right corner with raised letters that read, "Photo Album." There are nine pages in the book which are covered by clear plastic. The first page has a press release on Valleyfair letterhead titled "Valleyfair Opens 1976 Season." There is another press release on the back of the first page and continued on page two. This second release is titled "Facts about Valleyfair" which includes categories such as General, Location, Cost, Scheduled Opening, Operating Season, Personnel, Market Area, Food and Beverage Facilities, Major Rides, Antique Cars, Trolly Cars, Kiddie Park, Major Shows, One-Price Admission, and Ownership. The majority of the photos in the book measure 4.875" x 3.5." There are also photos at the back which were used for marketing that measure 10.125" x 8.125." The last two pages of the book are blank.
