Description
Red and white banner with gold fringe along bottom. Reads, "Welcome to Shakopee." American Indian with feather headdress in center. Banner divided into five panels with the side panels stepping down in length so that center panel is the longest. Alternating red and white. Four brass grommets along top. Two large metal sinker weights tied to brass grommets at bottom corners of center panel. Likely used for Gold Rush Days or Pow Wow Days in Shakopee. Would have been hung from Bill's Toggery building at 138 South Lewis St. Machine stitched in white.
