Description
Wedding gown worn by Mary Brick when she married Frank Lallak at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Shakopee on February 3, 1915. The dress is layers of ivory colored silk, tulle and lace. It is very embellished and beaded throughout. The dress has three-quarter length sleeves and a tiered skirt. The sleeves are also tiered. Each tier is trimmed with lines of glass beads. The neckline is round and the front of the bust is highly beaded. Seen over the shoulders and across the front of the bust to the waist are strips of beaded lace tacked onto the dress. There is a silk sash around the waist. The piece has a front snap closure. The slip is ivory colored silk with a cotton string tie at the waist.
