Description

Bridge plate used in Belle Plaine Township. The plate is rectangle shaped copper and iron. The facing side is slightly recessed and embossed is the text "Minnesota Highway Dept./Bridge 4085/1923". Seen on the backside are two round pilot holes with large bolts for attaching the plate to the bridge. The bridge plate was painted green at some point. No maker's marks.
