Description
Unbound scrapbook pages detailing information about Minnesota and Shakopee beauty pageants. The piece consists of oversized tan construction paper with magazine and newspaper articles taped onto the pages. Each page has two holes along its left edge but the pages are not bound together. The piece includes articles from the St. Paul Pioneer about the history of Miss. Minnesota contests in the state, the articles are from 1952. A majority of the articles and photographs cover Rosella Dressen of Shakopee who was Miss. Minnesota in 1930 and who won a bathing suit pageant in Miami, FL.Geographic Notes
