Description

Ladies' white cotton and elastic girdle. The girdle fit around the waist, stomach, hips and buttocks, it has a metal clasp closure along the front left side. Attached to the front and back sides of the corset are two elastic garters for attaching stockings to the piece. The corset is reinforced across the stomach. A care label from Montgomery Ward is sewn onto the corset just inside the metal clasp closure. Owned by Lurene Menden, a schoolteacher in Marystown. No labels.
