Description

Ladies' white cotton and elastic corset. The corset fit around the waist, hips and buttocks, it has a metal clasp closure along the front left side. Attached to the front and back side of the corset are two elastic garters for attaching stockings to the piece. The corset has a white on white floral pattern throughout. Written in black ink along the top edge of the piece is "L. Menden." A white cotton label is sewn onto the left hip, it has "Lurene Menden - FMNK" printed on it in black. Owned by Lurene Menden, a schoolteacher in Marystown. No labels.
