Description

Ladies' white cotton and elastic corset. The corset fit around the waist, hips and buttocks, it has a metal clasp closure along one hip and a more traditional laced closure on the front side. Attached to the front and back sides of the corset are two elastic garters for attaching stockings to the piece. The corset has a white on white floral pattern throughout. Two labels are sewn on the inside of the corset near the metal clasp closure. Owned by Lurene Menden, a schoolteacher in Marystown. No labels.
