Description
Kentucky Straight bourbon whiskey bottle commemorating Dan Patch. The bottle is porcelain painted brown and gold, it is shaped like a horseshoe. Seen on the facing side are a gold horseshoe with a sulky and rider at its center. Printed in black and red below the horse and rider is "World's Fastest Pacer/1:55/M. W. Savage, Owner." Below the horseshoe, on the base of the bottle, is a maker's label. Seen in raised letters on the underside of the bottle is "OMB Liquor Bottle No. 11/1970/Royal Halburton China." A square porcelain lid with a cork rests atop the bottle. Seen in raised letters on the front of the lid is "Savage Minn./Home of Dan Patch." A red paper seal is adhered to the backsides of the bottle and lid. The bottles were sold at the Dan Patch Liquor Store in Savage.
