Description

Ladies beaded purse. The purse is a black cotton pouch with a black cord handle. The body of the pouch is decorated with columns of clear glass beads sewn in the lazy stitch style. Set against the black, the beads form black and white stripes around the purse. The pouch tapers at the top and the bead design at that area forms a solid band. Sewn along the top edge of the pouch are thick black cotton loops (five on each side) decorated with the same clear beads. The loops hold the black cord handle. The interior of the purse is lined with black satin. No maker's marks, possibly handmade.
