Description

Ladies beaded purse. The body of the purse is a brown cotton pouch. The exterior of the pouch is decorated almost entirely with brown glass beads. The beads are sewn in the lazy stitch style, they form decorative columns throughout the body of the piece. Between various columns are beads sewn in teardrop shaped columns meant to imitate fringe. The pouch is attached to a highly decorative gold plated metal purse frame. A clasp along the top of the frame opens/closes the purse. Also along the top of the frame is a short chain link strap. The interior of the purse is lined with brown silk. No maker's marks.
