Description

Shakopee High School diploma awarded to Kenneth C. Eidsvold of the Class of 1938. The piece is booklet-style and the diploma is housed inside a red suede jacket. Stamped on the front of the jacket is a decorative oval with gold lettering, which reads "Shakopee High School/Kenneth Carl Eidsvold/Class of 1938." The diploma itself is thick cream colored paper printed in black. It notes that Eidsvold had completed the course of study prescribed by the State Board of Education and was thereby being awarded the diploma. Printed on the backside of the diploma and forming basically the first page of the booklet is the class year, flower, colors, and motto. Also printed on the backside is a list of the students who graduated with Eidsvold. A thin piece of cream colored tissue paper lays over the diploma and both are held in place by a red satin ribbon.
