Description

High school diploma from Mound Consolidated High School belonging to Elvira Weinzierl (later Notermann), who was Salutatorian of her class. The diploma is paper printed in black. It is housed inside a black velvet folio by a black silk ribbon. The cover page lists the class flower (tea rose), class colors (black and silver), and class motto ("In ourselves is the triumph or defeat"). The diploma itself is folded in half and has piece of tissue paper in between its two sides, with ribbon down the middle.
