Description
Abstract of land to Michael S. Moran and the Borough of Belle Plaine. The abstract was handwritten by the abstracter (James McHale?) on lined paper. It is for lots 25 and 26 in the Borough of Belle Plaine, Scott County. The piece lists the lands lineage from its first owner, Andrew Chatfield in 1858, to Michael Moran in 1907 along with how the land was passed from person to person (usually through inheritance). It also lists the taxes due for 1906.
