Description
Program from Belle Plaine High School's 1906 commencement exercises. The piece is cream colored cardstock printed in black. Seen on the front cover is an embossed image of a woman in profile. Text reads "The Senior Class of the Belle Plaine High School request your presence at the Graduating Exercises to be held Thursday Evening, May Thirty=first at eight o'clock/Weibeler Hall/1906." Adhered to the lower right corner of the front is a gold seal with a short silver ribbon and a short purple ribbon. Embossed on the seal is "Class of '06." The interior of the piece lists the event's program, which included music, student speeches, and a teacher's address, along with a list of the graduates, the class colors (silver and violet), and the class motto.
