Creation Date

Description

Crazy quilted wall hanging. The hanging consists of 15 crazy quilt blocks edged with black velvet bands. The backside is plain black cotton and the top edge of the cotton curls over for displaying the piece. Each square was hand stitched by a member of the Scott County Crazy Quilters group and each shows a unique color scheme and use of embellishment. Most of the squares incorporate lace, embroidery, tatting, applique, and items such as buttons, pins, pearls, rosettes, sequins, and so on.
