Description

Wedding veil worn by Patricia Donnelly when she was married at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Cedar Lake Township. The veil is a curved diamond shaped wire covered with thread and what appears to be a clear plastic. Sewn around the veil are small, shimmery, plastic flowers and leaves. At the front of the piece is stiff fabric flower surrounded by faux pearls. Attached to each side of veil are small combs for holding the veil in the wearer's hair. The piece originally had tulle but that is removed.
