Description

Ledger for School District #41, Shakopee. The ledger has hard black book cloth covers and a bound spine. Printed in black on the title page is "Clerk's Book of Records./School District No. 41, County of Scott/State of Minnesota". The ledger was used by the City of Shakopee from June 18, 1898-June 20, 1901. It contains school meeting minutes, records of transactions by the trustees, listing of trustee meeting rules and regulations, treasurer reports, yearly disbursement summary sheets, annual report of teachers, teacher's contracts, district treasurer's bonds, school district officers oath, and expense/receivable receipts. An index is handwritten in pencil on the inside front cover.
