United States Army dress uniform belt issued to Joseph P. Lehnen of Marystown during World War I. The belt is thin green canvas. One end of the piece is trimmed with brass. Stamped into the backside of the brass is "q U m S d." Adhered to the opposite end of the belt is the buckle. The buckle is brass with a locking mechanism to hold the belt closed. Etched vertically onto the front of the buckle is "Anchor Brand" with an anchor illustration and the text "Pat. Jan. 12, 04." This piece was worn by Lehnen with his dress uniform (2000.15.1 and 2000.15.15).Geographic Notes
