Description
Men's electric razor used by Bert Goemer of Shakopee. The piece includes the razor, original packaging box and original instructions. The razor is black plastic and oval shaped with a silver metal head. The body of the piece has V-shaped ridges for better gripping. Seen on one side of the handle near the head is a round maker's logo in gold and red. It reads "Kwik-Shave/Elgin Laboratories/ Chicago, U.S.A." Embossed in the metal at the bottom of the handle near the electrical cord is "Model/110-AC/9 Watts." The cord is black rubber with a two prong head. The packaging box is cardboard covered in black paper. A gold paper label adhered to one side of the lid reads "Elgin/Kwik-Shave Model 'V'/Electric Dry Shaver/110 Volts - AC Current." Patent numbers and the maker's name are printed below the voltage. Stamped in purple on the underside of the lid is "Snyder's Drug Store/731 Hennepin Ave." The instruction sheet is paper printed in brown. It includes the brand name, model number, electrical outlet requirements, instructions on how to shave, how women could use the razor, illustrations showing proper use techniques, how to care for the razor and so on.Geographic Notes
