Description
Six bottles of Rock Spring Ginger Ale with cardboard carrying case. The bottles are virtually identical. They are green glass with crown lips and side seams. Embossed around the neck of each bottle is "Rock Spring". Below the embossed letter is a small arced paper label in green, white, black and red. The label reads "Ginger Ale/Old Standard". Adhered to the body of the bottle is a square paper label in green, black, white and red. Seen at the top of the label is a small hexagon with the text "Happy Sparkle". Below the hexagon is the text "Rock Spring Ginger Ale/ Caramel Color Added/Old Standard/Net 7 Fl. Oz./Jacob Ries Bottling Works, Inc., Shakopee, Minn. 55379". The bottom of all the bottles are embossed with small circles, various number combinations and the word "Durglass" except for #C which has various number letter combinations. The carrying case is thin cardboard. The exterior of the cardboard is colored red, green and white. The case has individual compartments for each bottle, is collapsible and has a handle. Printed across the handle are a circle with a cent sign and the text "Happy Sparkle/Return Bottles in this Carton". Printed around the sides of the case are illustrations of a girl a sparkler and the text "Rock Spring Beverages". The carton was produced by the Mead Corporation; maker's information is printed on the underside.
