Description
Cloth fragment made by Lorraine Libby Coller. It is an applique piece that was most likely used on a dress or blouse. The fragment is star shaped with a white cotton backing. The star is covered with light purple beads. The interior of the star has a circle of white faux pearls. Inside the circle is a starburst pattern of purple beads with a smaller circle at the center. The smaller circle is decorated with a large white faux pearl. Hanging from the lower three points of the star are purple bead, light pink faux pearl and white faux pearl tassels. Highly decorative.
