Description

Necklace presented to Cora Dennis as a wedding gift when she married Julius Coller, I of Shakopee. The necklace is princess length. It has a gold link chain with evenly spaced opal link bars. At the center of the chain is a drop link chain with a large oval shaped Mexican opal. The opal is placed inside a sterling or silver plate frame. The backside of the opal and frame appear unfinished and may have originally been a locket. At the top of the chain is a spring ring clasp. Illegible text is etched around the clasp.
