Description

Wedding gown worn by Bernice Schultz of Lydia when she married Louis Nagel, Jr. of Blakeley Township at Fish Lake Lutheran Church (Immanuel Lutheran) on September 4, 1935. The gown is ivory satin with a fitted waist, gathered bust, and long train. It has a fabric covered back button closure and metal snap closure at the left side of the waist. The bodice and collar are decorated with ivory lace and the gown has a t-shirt neckline. The dress has long sleeves and each cuff is decorated with bias cut ivory lace and a metal snap closure. Machine stitched. Fabric buttons are hand stitched. No maker's marks.
