Description
Election marking pencil used by Sand Creek Township for government elections. The pencil is wood and lead. The exterior is painted maroon and the head has a gold metal cap. Stamped in gold along the shaft is the text "Made in U.S.A./8450 A.W. Faber "Election Pencil" Very Soft". Seen underneath the cap is a very short piece of string (before being cut or torn off, the string was very long and used to attach the pencil to the voting booth).
