Description

Decorative silver bowl with highly mirrored finish on top, and a brushed silver finish on the bottom. There are also three spherical legs on the bottom to stabilize the bowl when placed on a flat surface. There is an engraved inscription on the face which reads, "Stans-Antoon Lenssen-Maria Mia Jozef Josee Antonie Lisette Opgrimbie 12-4-1969 Belgie". There are two white office labels on the bottom which are typed in black ink. The first label reads, "Gift of Family Stans-Lenssen" and "April 1969" which is handwritten with ball point pen. The second label reads, "Silver plate inscribed- Opgrimbie 12-4-69-- gift of Stans Lenssen Family Opgrimbie, Belgium, 1969." The bowl was given as a gift to Maurice Stans along with a pewter ewer (2008.005.0484).
