The star measures 6"w x 6"h. The base measures 3.375"w x 2.5"d x 2.25"h

Description
Clear acrylic star with wooden base. The star has the presidential seal etched on the back in the center. The base is hardwood with brass accents on the top and bottom. a brass plate is recessed on the front and is etched with the words, "With Deep Appreciation Richard Nixon November 1972". The star was given as a gift to Maurice Stans after the 1972 presidential election, for which Stans was Finance Chairman for the Committee to Re-Elect the President.
A small note printed on thick cardstock accompanied the start. The note reads, "THE PRESIDENTIAL STAR The original of this design, a gift from Ambassador Walter Annenberg, was sculpted in crystal by Steuben Glass and now occupies a place of honor on my desk in the Oval office. This replica comes to you with my special appreciation for your help and support in the 1972 campaign, and with every good wish for the years ahead. Richard Nixon". The Presidential Seal appears at the top of the note embossed and accented in gold.
